Over 200 drivers from 40 European teams have been competing since this Friday at the Los Rosales pavilion in the largest slot endurance race in Europe, which emulates the 24 hours of Le Mans.

The Los Rosales sports pavilion in Móstoles is hosting the 20th edition of the 24 hours of Masterslot 2026 from this Friday until Sunday, the largest slot endurance race in Europe. More than 200 participants from 40 teams across the continent will gather for an event that simulates the legendary 24 hours of Le Mans with 1/32 scale electric miniature cars.

The mayor of the town, Manuel Bautista, attended this morning's free practice sessions to see how the drivers are finalising their preparations. The competition will kick off tomorrow, Saturday, at 10:00 and will run continuously for 24 hours, until around 11:30 on Sunday.

The circuit, featuring 32 lanes and a total length of about 2 kilometres, will require participants to complete nearly 5,000 laps. It has a professional timing system that will measure each crossing of the finish line. The winner will be the team that completes the most laps during the heats on Saturday and Sunday; in the event of a tie, the best lap in the Pole Position will be taken into account.

One of the most anticipated moments will be the night driving. Starting at 23:00 on Saturday, the pavilion's lighting will be turned off and the cars will race guided only by the light of their headlights, adding excitement to each lap. The event is contested in two categories: MSHY (Hypercar) and MSGT3 (GT3), reflecting the pinnacle of current miniature motorsport.

The event is organised by MasterSlot Racing Events in collaboration with the Móstoles City Council, through the Department of Sports and Health. It is expected that hundreds of motorsport and competitive slot fans will visit the facilities during these days.

Bautista highlighted that Móstoles, as European City of Sport 2026, continues to organise events of national and international scope. “We bring different sports disciplines closer to all citizens, like this exciting world of miniature motorsport in this event, which is the largest race in Europe,” he stated.

Entry is free and the public will be able to follow the progress of the race live. The 24 hours of Masterslot have become a classic event in the summer calendar of the town, bringing together participants and fans from all over Europe.
