The Sports Department of Rivas-Vaciamadrid opens a new pre-registration period on Monday, September 28 for municipal sports schools that do not require a skill test. The aim is to fill vacancies that have become available after the closure of the regular registration period.
Applications are processed solely on the municipal registration website, inscripciones.rivasciudad.es. Excluded from this process are extracurricular activities for children and the modalities of swimming, skating, tennis, and paddle, which do require a skill test.
The new period is aimed at two profiles: individuals without a place in the activity and who are not on waiting lists, and individuals who are already on a waiting list but wish to request more groups or change their selections.
Requests for new schedules in the same activity in which the person is already registered will not be accepted. For adults and seniors, these changes will be processed from November 1 to April via the email deportesadministracion@rivasciudad.es. In the case of child users, there is no request for change, but they may visit the offices in person starting from November 1 in case there are vacancies in the desired group.
Each person may make only one pre-registration per activity, except for those who wish to change or expand their initial options: in that case, the last request will be recorded. In the form, a maximum of four groups can be selected in order of preference.
If a place is available, the Sports Department will contact the interested person. If there is none at that moment, they will be added to a waiting list that will remain open throughout the season and will expire at the end of it.
For indoor cycling and weight training schools, registration is direct via the email deportesadministracion@rivasciudad.es. In activities with a skill test (swimming, except for pregnant swimming, tennis, paddle, and skating at Cerro del Telégrafo), information about new test calls will be provided starting in October.
