The Tres Cantos City Council opens tomorrow, 22 August, the application period for a new job pool for Sports Technicians, selected by merit competition.

The Tres Cantos City Council will open tomorrow, 22 August, the period for submitting applications for a new job pool for Sports Technicians, aimed at covering appointments for interim civil service personnel in the municipal Sports area. The process is governed by a merit competition and the pool will have a maximum validity of two years.

Applications may be submitted for ten working days from the day following the publication of the announcement in the Official Bulletin of the Community of Madrid (BOCM), which has been released today. All procedures will be carried out exclusively through the electronic headquarters of the City Council.

Applicants must hold a university degree of Degree, University Diploma or equivalent, in addition to meeting the other requirements of the bases and providing the required documentation.

The selection will score professional experience with a maximum of 6 points, valuing services rendered as a Sports Technician in public administrations or equivalent positions in the private sector. Education will contribute up to 4 points, including 2 points for an additional related university qualification, such as the Degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences (CAFYD), and 0.25 points for each sports-related course of at least 20 hours taught or accredited by official bodies.

The pool will be formed with those who obtain a minimum of 5 points, ordered from highest to lowest score, and the calls will follow that order according to the needs of the service. Its maximum validity will be two years, unless it is exhausted earlier or a new pool is established.

The councillor for Human Resources, Ana Isabel Pérez, has highlighted that this call allows the City Council to “respond quickly and effectively” to the needs of the Sports service, and has reminded that the pools guarantee the availability of qualified professionals “in accordance with the principles of equality, merit and capacity.”

The complete bases are published in the BOCM and will also be posted on the electronic headquarters of the City Council in the coming hours. Interested parties can consult them to prepare the documentation before the deadline closes.
