The RC Libélula Club, in collaboration with the Villalbilla Town Hall, is organising an open day and the National F3A Open, with the skies of the municipality as the backdrop.
The skies of Villalbilla will be the setting for two aeromodelling events during the San Miguel festivities and the beginning of October. The RC Libélula Club, with the support of the Villalbilla Town Hall, has organised an open day and an official aerial acrobatics competition.
The Open Day will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 10:00 to 14:00, at the club's facilities. There will be radio-controlled flight demonstrations, workshops, and activities for all ages, as well as the opportunity to try out the controls.
A weekend later, on October 3 and 4, 2026, the National F3A Open and the Madrid Autonomous Championship will take place. Radio-controlled aerial acrobatics pilots will compete for precision and technical skill in an official level event.
Both events are open to the public and aim to bring this sport closer to the local residents.
