The Medi Cine cycle returns to Colmenarejo with the screening of 'Ex Machina' on September 25 at 18:00 in the Municipal Theatre. The session includes a debate on artificial intelligence and ethics.

The Medi Cine cycle is back in Colmenarejo with the screening of 'Ex Machina' by Alex Garland on September 25 at 18:00 in the Municipal Theatre, located in the Centro Cultural Manuel Entero. Admission is free until full capacity is reached.

After the film, there will be an afternoon of cinema, reflection, and debate on questions posed by the organisers: whether an artificial intelligence can feel, what makes us human, whether we have the right to create conscious beings and control them, and where the ethical limits of technology should lie.

The session will be presented and coordinated by Dr. Antonio Ruiz and will involve collaboration from the residents of family and community medicine and nursing from the teaching department of DANO.

Artificial intelligence no longer belongs solely to science fiction

The Colmenarejo City Council, through the Department of Culture, organises this activity aimed at opening a space for opinion and reflection on increasingly present issues in society.
