The cultural event will transform public spaces in the municipality into an open-air gallery. Interested artists can now submit their applications.

The Casa de Cultura of San Lorenzo de El Escorial has already opened the application period for the twentieth edition of “El Arte sale a la calle”, an event that will turn various public spaces in the municipality into an open-air exhibition for a weekend. Painting, drawing, photography, engraving, sculpture, and other artistic expressions will occupy squares, streets, and corners of the urban area.

The project was born with the idea of bringing artistic creation closer to residents and visitors outside conventional galleries, in a direct and accessible manner. Creators can showcase their work and engage with the public, making the initiative a meeting point for artists, enthusiasts, and passersby.

Those interested in participating must submit an application along with a brief curriculum vitae detailing their training or exhibitions. Those who are not registered in San Lorenzo de El Escorial must attach a copy of their ID to prove they are of legal age.

The form allows for the indication of location preference. The allocation of spaces will be conducted through a public draw at the Casa de Cultura, and each participant will receive an email confirmation of the location assigned to them.

The documentation and participation form are available on the municipal website and at the Casa de Cultura itself.
