The Town Hall of Miraflores de la Sierra has presented the bullfighting programme for its 2026 Patron Saint Festivities, which includes encierros, novilladas without picadors, and a cutting contest.
Miraflores de la Sierra is ready for the Bullfighting Fair of its 2026 Patron Saint Festivities. The Town Hall has announced the complete programme of events, which will take place in August and will combine morning activities with afternoon events.
The morning festivities will kick off with transhumance, followed by encierros and a children's bueyada, an initiative designed for young ones to safely participate in the tradition.
In the afternoon, the cycle will begin on August 14 with the Cutting Contest. On August 15, 16, and 17, novilladas without picadors will be the highlight of the fair.
The Town Hall has reminded everyone that all information regarding ticket sales, subscriptions, and prices is available on the official posters, and recommends that residents and visitors plan their attendance in advance.
With this programme, Miraflores de la Sierra is committed to a bullfighting fair “designed for all fans,” within the framework of patron saint festivities that aim to keep the tradition alive.
