The Majadahonda Town Hall and Telpark launch a campaign with a 90% discount at Gran Vía parking from September 7 to 29. Users can park for 12 hours for €1.99.
The Majadahonda Town Hall and the company Telpark, which manages the service, have announced a discount campaign of 90% off the usual rate at the Gran Vía underground parking. The promotion will be active from Monday, September 7 to September 29, coinciding with the Patron Saint Festivities in honour of the Most Holy Christ of Remedies.
Users will be able to purchase Multipass vouchers of 5, 10 or 20 passes through the Telpark app. Thanks to the discount, 12 hours of parking will cost €1.99. When purchasing a voucher, the vehicle's registration number must be linked for automatic entry and exit via digital reading, without the need for a ticket or manual payments. The registration number can be changed from the app, allowing flexibility for personal, family, or work use.
Vouchers purchased during the campaign have a validity of one year from the date of purchase and have no restrictions on time slots or days. Additionally, each purchase includes a 30% discount on electric vehicle charging until December 31, applicable in all Telpark car parks with charging points in Spain. The Gran Vía parking has 10 charging points of up to 22 kW.
The councillor for Security, Mobility and Festivities, Ignacio Silván, explained that the measure aims to “facilitate shopping, errands, and activities for both residents and visitors, who will be able to access the urban centre with greater ease and comfort.”
The aim is to facilitate shopping, errands, and activities for both residents and visitors, who will be able to access the urban centre with greater ease and comfort.
The campaign adds to other municipal initiatives to facilitate parking for residents, visitors, and workers in the centre, boost the local economy, and reduce emissions from the search for parking. Furthermore, during the European Mobility Week, from September 16 to 22, electric vehicle users will be able to use the parking chargers for free, paying only for the duration of their stay.
