The Department of Culture, Tourism and Sport has published the regulatory bases for aid to conserve and restore private properties protected as Assets of Cultural or Heritage Interest. The grant can cover up to 70% of the eligible expenses.
The Community of Madrid has published the regulatory bases for the upcoming call for aid for the conservation, recovery, and restoration of private properties protected as Assets of Cultural or Heritage Interest. The grant will cover up to 70% of the subsidised expenses.
Applications can be submitted by private individuals or legal entities who own the properties, as well as authorised holders, homeowners' associations, and other private groups. Public sector entities are excluded.
The call will set a maximum per application and only one action will be accepted per applicant. The aid will cover works aimed at conserving, recovering, or restoring the properties, provided that they have not started before the grant is awarded. Generally, new construction, maintenance, technical fees, furniture, taxes, and duties are excluded.
To apply for the aid, proof of ownership must be provided along with an intervention project including a report, plans, budget, photographs, and a permit or application. The aid will be granted on a competitive basis, according to the score obtained and until the budget is exhausted.
The publication of these bases establishes the framework for the aid, but does not yet allow applications to be submitted. The application period will be two months from the corresponding publication of the call in the Official Bulletin of the Community of Madrid (BOCM).
