The music and dance cycle will take place from August 23 to 29 at the Patio de Santo Tomás de Villanueva, featuring a strong presence of local artists. Tickets go on sale this Tuesday, August 18.
The Patio de Santo Tomás de Villanueva, at the Cisnerian University of Alcalá de Henares, will once again be the stage for the Nights of the Patio during the 2026 Fairs and Festivals. The music and dance cycle, which sells out every year, will run from Sunday, August 23, to Saturday, August 29, with a total of seven shows.
The program will kick off with the Flamenco Ballet of Cristian Pérez on Sunday 23 with 'Flamencos'. On Monday 24, the Spanish Dance Company Camino de Vuelta will perform 'Dance and Word', and on Tuesday 25, it will be Esquivel's turn with 'In a Place of Dance'.
On Wednesday 26, the Albéniz Ballet will present 'Don Quixote from a Woman's Perspective – Flamenco Suite'. On Thursday 27, the Dance Company of Azucena Rodríguez will arrive with 'Roots in Motion', and on Friday 28, the Ensemble Sapere Aude Juventudes Musicales of Alcalá de Henares will offer 'Picturesque Spain'. The cycle will close on Saturday 29 with the Dance Company of Pilar Barbancho presenting 'The Master's Dressing Room'.
The Councillor for Festivals and Popular Traditions, Antonio Saldaña, highlighted the success of the cycle: "Once again we will be able to enjoy our local artists and great nationally renowned groups in a cycle that is a safe bet, which every year receives a great response from the public, hanging the 'sold out' sign at all shows."
Tickets will go on sale this Tuesday, August 18. The box office will have special hours that day, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and they will also be available at culturalcala.com starting at 2:00 PM. On the other days, the usual box office hours will be maintained.
All shows will begin at 10:00 PM at the Patio de Santo Tomás de Villanueva, a space that has become one of the main attractions of the city's festivities. The strong presence of Alcalá artists is one of the distinctive features of this edition.
