The Municipal Language School of Tres Cantos has doubled its initial offer from 150 places to 300 in response to the high demand recorded among families. The pre-registration period continues until tomorrow, Friday 4th September at 15:00.
The centre, located in the 21 de Marzo building, will offer training in English and other languages, depending on demand, for students aged 3 to 16 years. Classes will begin in October and the price will be 25 euros per month, as explained by the Education Councillor, Marisa Peña.
The excellent reception of this great initiative has exceeded our expectations and demonstrates the interest that exists in Tres Cantos for having an offer of this nature. We have doubled the initial places so that many more children and young people can access quality language training, close to home and at a subsidised price of 25 euros per month,” the councillor stated.
Pre-registration does not guarantee a place, which will be confirmed after completing the enrolment. The provisional lists will be published on Monday 14th September and enrolment can be formalised on 16th and 17th September. On the same day, 16th September at 18:30, there will be an informational meeting for the families of the admitted students at the Teatro del Centro Cultural Adolfo Suárez.
Any places that remain vacant due to withdrawals or failure to meet requirements will be offered in order to the waiting list, whose members will have 48 hours to respond.
The training will be provided in small groups of between 10 and 15 students, which will be organised according to level, order of pre-registration, and schedule compatibility. The academic plan will prioritise communicative skills and will allow for the preparation of official certifications from Cambridge English.
Additionally, the project opens a pathway for employment for teachers and professionals in Tres Cantos who meet the requirements. Interested parties can consult the guidelines on the Get Brit Idiomas website and will receive specific training in the centre's methodology.
