The Valdemorillo Town Council has launched the third edition of the Academic Excellence Awards for registered students who completed 6th grade, 4th year of Secondary or 2nd year of Baccalaureate with an average grade of 9 or higher last year.
Students from Valdemorillo who completed 6th grade, 4th year of Secondary or 2nd year of Baccalaureate last year with an average grade in their records equal to or greater than 9 can apply for the third edition of the Academic Excellence Awards. The Town Council has opened the call for these awards, which also recognise young people who passed the University Entrance Exam (PAU) with a score of 12.6 or higher.
The mayor, Santiago Villena, has stated that the council does not want to overlook the effort reflected in each academic record.
As a Town Council, we do not want to overlook the great effort and achievement that each academic record of the students represents, who give us a magnificent example of responsibility, courage and perseverance, values reflected in their brilliant grades.
Villena has also encouraged students who meet the requirements to submit their applications within the established deadline so that their work is rewarded. The mayor added that these awards aim to serve as an incentive for the rest of the student body.
Rewarding them with this recognition is, in reality, an incentive for everyone, because their personal success is also connected to the progress of our town.
The awards include a financial contribution intended to cover the educational expenses of the winners. The terms of the call, the application form and the required documentation are available on the municipal website for download. Once all applications have been evaluated, the Town Council will announce the date and location of the award ceremony.
