Peña El Venazo and the Town Hall of Torres de la Alameda are organising the IV Paella Competition, which will take place on Saturday 26th September in the Plaza de Toros. The registration deadline is 23rd September.
The Town Hall of Torres de la Alameda and Peña El Venazo have opened the registration period for the fourth edition of the Paella Competition, one of the activities of the municipality's Pre-Fiestas. The deadline to sign up ends on 23rd September.
The competition will be held on Saturday 26th September in the Plaza de Toros of Torres de la Alameda. From 11:30, participants will be able to access the venue to set up their table and all necessary utensils, materials, and ingredients, including the paella pan and gas equipment.
Cooking will begin at 13:00 and the maximum time to present the paellas will be 14:30. The jury will evaluate the presentation and quality, as well as the taste and cooking point of the rice.
There will be prizes for the three best paellas, for the best presentation, and a special award for the paella that comes in last place. Participants must bring their own table, paella pan, and gas equipment.
