The Local Government Board of the City Council of San Fernando de Henares has green-lighted a planning interpretation that conditions the transformation of commercial premises located on the ground floor of multi-family buildings for residential use. The agreement, published on the municipal website, establishes the criteria that must be applied to this type of operation within the municipal area.
Alongside this measure, the council has delineated the excluded commercial thoroughfares from this possible transformation. The objective, according to municipal documentation, is to preserve the local fabric in certain streets of San Fernando de Henares, which are protected against changes of use.
