The Tres Cantos City Council announces the 2026 Sports Effort Awards for athletes and clubs for the 2025-2026 season. Applications can be submitted from September 14 to 25.

The Tres Cantos City Council has opened the call for the 2026 Sports Effort Awards, aimed at athletes and sports entities in the municipality who have excelled in the 2025-2026 season. The application period will be from September 14 to 25, 2026, inclusive.

The awards recognise the efforts of athletes participating in individual and team sports who have stood out at national or international levels, as well as the work of clubs that have reached the highest categories in their disciplines.

For sports entities, the requirements include developing their main activity in Tres Cantos, having their registered office in the municipality, being a non-profit entity registered in the Community of Madrid and the City Council, and having a minimum of three years' existence at the time of application.

In the case of individual athletes, they must practice an individual sport or be part of a regional or national team in a team sport, be registered in Tres Cantos or belong to a club in Tres Cantos for at least two years continuously, and have a federation registration for the 2025/26 season or be listed in an official ranking of their discipline.

Legal entities (clubs or associations) must submit their application electronically through the electronic headquarters, selecting the option "Sports Effort Awards" in the section for Aid and Grants. Individuals can do so in person during municipal registration hours or also electronically via the same route.

The required documentation for entities includes the application form, the CIF, certifications of registration in the Community of Madrid, a certificate from the secretary regarding the composition of the board of directors, civil liability insurance, a certificate from the federation with the sports results of the season, certificates of being up to date with the AEAT and Social Security, and a negative certificate from the Central Registry of Sexual Offenders.

Individual athletes must provide Annex I if the application is in person, the NIF, the current federation registration, the certificate from the federation with the most notable results of the 2025/26 season, and any other supporting documentation of their achievements. If they are not registered in Tres Cantos, they will need a certificate from the Tres Cantos club to which they belong, indicating their length of membership.

The complete rules of the call are available on the municipal website. Notifications related to this procedure will be made through the Electronic Notification System.
