The Asociación Clásicos Ruta Imperial brought together more than 200 classic cars and motorcycles this Sunday in Valdemorillo at the La Candelaria bullring, with awards for elegance, antiquity, and restoration.
The bullring of La Candelaria and its surroundings hosted a gathering of classic vehicles on Sunday, September 6, organised by the Asociación Clásicos Ruta Imperial de Valdemorillo, which brought together enthusiasts, collectors, and the public around the history of motoring.
More than 200 vehicles, including saloons, utilitarian cars, and sports cars, were showcased at an event supported by the Community of Madrid and which took place ahead of the Formula 1 weekend.
The mayor, Santiago Villena, the councillor for Economic Promotion, Eva Ruiz, and other local government members presented the awards for elegance, antiquity, and restoration. Special trophies were also awarded to the Veterans club and to Sergio Romagosa and son.
The association, led by its honorary president, Alberto Camarero, is already working on the next edition.
