The municipal group of the Independent Citizens' Group for Aranjuez (ACIPA) has submitted two questions to the Plenary of the Corporation for September 2026 concerning the situation of the Cultural Landscape Management Plan of Aranjuez. The party wants to know the current status of the document and whether the governing team has a timeline for it to become a reality.
ACIPA recalls that on March 13, during the state of the city debate, the mayor indicated that within a week or two, he would provide the groups with a "very advanced" document. The party points out that this timeline has been extended beyond what was expected and that, so far, they have not received the text.

The party asserts that it has attempted several times to push the Management Plan forward through proposals with other groups, suggestions, and ideas. In its presentation, ACIPA defines the cultural landscape as the territory resulting from the interaction between humans and the natural environment over time, and argues that its protection should be based on sustainable management and knowledge of its history, not on freezing the territory.
The two registered questions are specific: what is the current status of the Cultural Landscape Management Plan of Aranjuez, and does the municipal government have a timeline for sharing it with the other parties and for its final approval.
The September 2026 Plenary is the next opportunity for ACIPA to seek a response from the governing team regarding the document's timeline.
