The Town Hall of Boadilla del Monte has initiated the construction of two roundabouts on Monte Romanillos Avenue with the aim of improving traffic flow and road safety on this road. The roundabouts will be built at the junctions of Cabo Estaca de Bares with Cabo de la Nao and Cabo de Plata, respectively.

The works include cutting asphalt pavements and slabs, demolitions, earth excavation and compaction, installation of curbs on the roadway, sidewalks and pedestrian access ramps, paving and asphalting, placement of vertical signage and horizontal painting with thermoplastic paint, as well as the formation of artificial grass in the centre medians.

The project has a budget of 36,452.78 euros. With these works, the council aims to reduce vehicle speed and organise the intersections on a busy avenue, a measure that directly affects drivers and pedestrians who pass through the area daily.
