The City Council of Boadilla del Monte opens this Tuesday, 8 September, the period to apply for school and childcare scholarships for the 2026/2027 academic year. Applications can be submitted until 22 September.
Families registered and residing in the municipality with children enrolled in public, concerted, or private schools in the Community of Madrid in the second cycle of Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, ESO, Special Education, Baccalaureate, or Intermediate Vocational Training can apply for the aid. In the case of Special Education, the age cannot exceed 21 years, and for Baccalaureate and Vocational Training, 25 at the time of enrollment.
Applicants must be registered in Boadilla before 1 September 2025 and maintain this registration at least until the end of the application period. If they are not owners or tenants of the property where they are registered, they must present a certificate from the Property Registry stating that they do not own another property in the region. It is also required to be up to date with payments to the City Council, the Tax Agency, and Social Security, and not to have open absenteeism files with the corresponding municipal commission.
The amounts depend on the number of applications and vary according to the educational stage: up to 100 euros in Early Childhood, 187.50 in Primary, 250 in Secondary, Baccalaureate, and Vocational Training, 625 for high abilities, 1,125 for students with DEA or special educational needs, and 3,250 for Special Education centres.
The application is processed through the Electronic Headquarters of the City Council, or semi-presentially if a digital certificate is not available: the online form must be completed, the preliminary submission clicked, and then go to the municipal registry to sign on screen, during the hours of 9 to 19 hours. Documentation such as the family book, certificate of schooling from the centre for the 2026/2027 academic year, responsible declaration of the bank account, and, if applicable, divorce decrees or reports from the EOEP for minors with special needs must be attached.
The aid is incompatible with other subsidies for the same purpose from public or private entities. Questions can be sent to concejaliaeducacion@aytoboadilla.com and the complete regulations are available on the municipal website.
