Ciempozuelos reclassifies its local police to subgroup C1

The Official Bulletin of the Community of Madrid publishes the appointment of a career civil servant from the Local Police of Ciempozuelos, reclassified from subgroup C2 to C1.

The Ciempozuelos City Council has formalised the reclassification of a Local Police officer to subgroup C1, an administrative promotion that improves their professional and salary level. The appointment as a career civil servant has been published in the Official Bulletin of the Community of Madrid (BOCM), a step that consolidates their position within the force.

The reclassification from subgroup C2 to C1 implies a change in the agent's category, which now receives greater recognition within the civil servant scale. This measure, driven by the council, aims to adapt the workforce to the service's needs and acknowledge the officer's career.

The process has been handled through the personnel services of the Ciempozuelos City Council, which have followed the established administrative procedures. The publication in the BOCM grants official status to the appointment, which occurs after passing the corresponding selection and provision procedures.

With this reclassification, the affected officer will see improvements in their working conditions, including an increase in their pay. This measure is part of the City Council's human resources policy, which in recent years has focused on stabilising and promoting its municipal staff.

The local government team highlights that this action contributes to strengthening public safety in the municipality, by offering a more attractive working framework for the officers. The reclassification, however, does not entail a change in the police officer's operational functions, but rather in their administrative classification.

The City Council has not detailed the total number of officers who could benefit from this measure in the future, although municipal sources indicate that this is a procedure that could extend to other members of the force. For now, the appointment published in the BOCM is effective, and the officer is already serving as a career civil servant in subgroup C1.
