The municipal program "ActivaMente" returns to Gargantilla del Lozoya with free activities to care for mental health. There will be sessions in the multipurpose room, the social hall of Pinilla, and the calisthenics park.
The Town Hall of Gargantilla del Lozoya has resumed the program "ActivaMente", a free initiative aimed at promoting emotional well-being and mental health among residents. Activities will take place from this week in three locations within the municipality and the district of Pinilla del Valle.
In the multipurpose room of Gargantilla, sessions are held from Monday to Friday, from 12:00 to 14:00 hours. In the social hall of Pinilla, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 17:00 to 19:30 hours. Additionally, the calisthenics or multipurpose park hosts two shifts: from Monday to Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 hours, and on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 19:00 to 20:00 hours.
The program aims to raise awareness about the importance of mental health, which includes emotional, psychological, and social well-being. According to the council, having good mental health helps combat stress, improve relationships with others, and make healthier decisions. Self-care is also promoted through regular exercise, a balanced diet, and adequate rest.
