Getafe allocates 40,000 euros to youth organisation projects

The Getafe City Council distributes 40,000 euros: 22,000 for the Annual Activities Programme and 18,000 for summer camps.

The Getafe City Council, through the Youth Delegation, has launched the 2026 grant call for non-profit youth associations in the municipality. The total budget is 40,000 euros and the application period will be 20 working days from the publication in the BOCM.

Youth associations and entities in Getafe can now prepare their projects to apply for the grants from the Youth Delegation. The 2026 call distributes 40,000 euros among leisure and free time initiatives for children and youth that take place between 1 January and 31 December 2026.

The distribution is divided into two lines. The first, the Annual Activities Programme, has 22,000 euros for projects that promote autonomy, equal opportunities, and participation of young people and minors. The second, Summer Camps, has 18,000 euros for activities related to nature, the environment, and educational leisure. Each entity can receive funding for only one project per line.

From this department, we support a youth with spaces to organise and take the lead, autonomously, providing resources so they can promote their own projects and access non-commercial leisure alternatives,” explains the Youth Councillor, Elena Sánchez.

Grants can be requested by legally recognised youth associations or youth sections that are operational and have their details updated in the Municipal Register of Associations and Citizen Entities of the Getafe City Council. Each entity may submit only one application per fundable line.

Applications should preferably be submitted through the Electronic Headquarters of the Getafe City Council, along with the project, budget, and required documentation as specified in the guidelines. The deadline will be 20 working days from the day after the publication of the call in the BOCM.
