The Auxiliary Bishop, Mons. José Avendaño Perea, will preside over the taking of possession at the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption in Valdelaguna on Sunday, October 4 at 1:00 PM. Two weeks later, on October 18, it will be Belmonte de Tajo's turn.
José Moreno Serrano will be the new parish priest of Valdelaguna and Belmonte de Tajo. The taking of possession will be celebrated in two separate ceremonies, one in each municipality, as reported by the Valdelaguna Town Hall.
The first ceremony will take place on Sunday, October 4 at 1:00 PM at the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption in Valdelaguna. It will be presided over by the Auxiliary Bishop, Mons. José Avendaño Perea.
The second celebration will be on Sunday, October 18 at 1:00 PM at the Church of Our Lady of the Star in Belmonte de Tajo, this time with the General Vicar, D. Francisco Mairata de Anduiza.
At the end of each mass, a wine reception will be offered in the parish premises.
The Valdelaguna Town Hall has welcomed José Moreno Serrano and wished him all the best in this new stage at the head of the parish.
