The Tres Cantos City Council has published the guidelines to fill a Library Assistant position through competitive examination. The application period is now open.

The Tres Cantos City Council has called for a Library Assistant position through the open competition process, using the examination system. The regulatory bases were published on August 6, and the official announcement appeared in the Official Bulletin of the Community of Madrid on August 26, with a subsequent correction on September 2.

Interested parties can now consult the full text of the announcement on the municipal electronic headquarters. The selection process will consist of two exercises, as detailed in the bases, and those who pass all tests will obtain a permanent position in the municipal workforce.

This offer is part of the plan for the stabilization and reinforcement of local public services. The application submission period will be twenty working days starting from the day after the announcement is published in the Official State Bulletin, which is expected in the coming days.

Applicants must meet the general requirements for access to public service and, specifically, hold the required qualifications for this category. The participation fee will be 15.25 euros, as stated in the bases, and must be paid at the time of registration.

The City Council reminds that applications must be submitted exclusively electronically through the general registry of the City Council. For questions about the process, interested parties can contact the Human Resources department, which will handle inquiries by phone or by appointment.

The announcement in the BOE, which will officially start the countdown of deadlines, is expected in the coming weeks. The estimated date for the first exercise is January 28, 2026, although this date may be adjusted depending on the volume of applications and the organization of the examination boards.
