Rivas-Vaciamadrid hosts two events this Friday and Saturday to promote local commerce and nearby products, with activities and gifts for residents.

Rivas-Vaciamadrid celebrates two events this weekend to energise local trade and showcase regional foods. On Friday, September 11, from 17:00 to 20:30, the 8M park in the La Luna neighbourhood will host a new edition of Magical Shops, an initiative by the Community of Madrid in collaboration with the Rivas City Council.

This fair will feature 12 local shops, spread across 14 spaces and offering 19 different activities among stalls and areas set up for the public. Additionally, there will be family activities and gifts for those who have shopped at participating stores in the weeks leading up to the event.

On Saturday, September 12, from 10:00 to 14:30, the 8th of March Avenue, next to Hipatia, will host Madrid's Pantry, the itinerant market for regional foods, also organised by the Community of Madrid in collaboration with the Rivas City Council. At the market, products such as meat, beer, olives, cheese, wine, and honey will be available.

The aim of this event is to showcase the variety of foods produced or cultivated in the Community of Madrid and to encourage the consumption of local products.
