The Galapagar City Council will allocate €37,000 to this year's Academic Excellence Awards. The diploma and scholarship presentation gala will be held on October 8 at 19:00 at the Teatro Jacinto Benavente in the La Pocilla Cultural Centre.
A total of 104 students from Galapagar will receive this year's Academic Excellence Awards granted by the City Council. The awardees are students who achieved the best records at the end of the cycle in 6th Primary, 4th ESO, and 2nd Bachillerato last year.
Each awardee will receive a financial grant of between €200 and €555, depending on the educational stage. The municipal investment for this edition amounts to nearly €37,000, according to the City Council.
The diploma and scholarship presentation will take place on October 8 at 19:00 at the Teatro Jacinto Benavente in the La Pocilla Cultural Centre. The event will be presided over by the mayor of Galapagar, Carla Greciano, and the students will be accompanied by their families.

In this thirteenth edition, two students from the Oreja Verde Adult School will also receive recognition. This category was added to the awards two years ago and this year includes two awardees.
