CEIP San Marcos in San Martín de la Vega unveils its new Early Childhood playground. The Town Hall has completed the renovation works of the children's playground, which involved an investment of €17,222.81.
The works included removing the old play equipment, which had considerable wear after years of use, and demolishing a small shed that occupied part of the area. The space has been prepared to install the new, more modern and safer structures.
This action is part of the municipal plan to renew the Early Childhood playgrounds of public schools in the locality. With this intervention, CEIP San Marcos now has a completely renovated playground, which will be operational from the start of the next school year.
The Councillor for Education, Javier Pizarro, highlighted that "we continue to fulfil the commitment made to the educational community to progressively renew the Early Childhood playgrounds of all public schools in the municipality." He also announced that the next schools to be renovated will be CEIP Cerros Chicos and Jorge Guillén, the only two remaining.
With this action, the San Martín de la Vega Town Hall continues its commitment to improving educational facilities, providing young children with more accessible play areas tailored to their needs.
