The Boadilla del Monte Town Hall has already delivered 75% of the 524 homes from the VIVE Plan in Valenoso. 96% of the recipients are residents of the municipality, and six out of ten are under 36 years old.
The delivery of the 524 homes from the Community of Madrid's VIVE Plan in the Valenoso development, in Boadilla del Monte, has been progressing since last July. As of today, 75% of the flats have been allocated and delivered, according to municipal data.
The profile of the recipients is predominantly local and young. 96% are residents of Boadilla del Monte. By age, 62% are between 20 and 35 years old, and 20% are between 36 and 45 years old. Overall, more than 80% are under 46 years old.
Regarding income, the average net income per household is 43,200 euros per year. 33% declare between 35,000 and 45,000 euros; 27%, between 45,000 and 55,000 euros; and 25%, between 25,000 and 35,000 euros.
The composition of the households is also small: 79% of the households consist of one or two people; 19%, three or four; and 2%, five or more. 21% of the households have minors.
The Boadilla del Monte Town Hall believes that this data confirms that the promotion meets one of its objectives: to facilitate access to affordable housing for residents of the municipality, especially young people.
This data shows that the VIVE Plan is allowing many young people from Boadilla to access housing and plan their life project in their municipality," officials from the Town Hall state.
The 524 homes in Valenoso are part of the Community of Madrid's VIVE Plan, an initiative to expand the supply of protected rental housing at affordable prices. The allocation will continue until all pending deliveries are completed.
