Plaza de San Antonio will once again host the concerts of the Motín de Aranjuez Festival, which will take place from September 2 to 6 with La Pegatina, Jaime Urrutia and Coti as headliners.
The Motín de Aranjuez 2026 Festival, declared of International Tourist Interest, has unveiled its main musical programme. La Pegatina, Jaime Urrutia, former leader of Gabinete Caligari, and Argentine singer-songwriter Coti head a lineup that will be spread across Plaza de la Constitución, Plaza de San Antonio and Calle de las Infantas.
The Aranjuez City Council has confirmed that the concerts will begin on Thursday, September 3, following the opening speech by José Luis Salcedo Nieto 'Pepín'. That night, the Orquesta Atlántida will perform at 22:00 in Plaza de la Constitución, followed by a DJ session at 1:00.
On Friday, September 4, Plaza de la Constitución will host Boseido, a tribute band to Miguel Bosé, at 22:00. At 23:00, La Pegatina will take the stage in Plaza de San Antonio, a space that has been reclaimed for this festival thanks to the authorization from Patrimonio Nacional. The night will continue with the Orquesta Loriens in Calle de las Infantas at 1:00 and a DJ session at Raso de la Estrella from midnight.
On Saturday, September 5, Jaime Urrutia will perform at 22:00 in Plaza de la Constitución, while Coti will take the stage at midnight in Plaza de San Antonio. The Orquesta Exilum will provide music in Calle de las Infantas from 1:00, and Raso de la Estrella will again host a DJ session.
The distribution of stages aims to concentrate activity in the centre of Aranjuez so that the public can walk between concerts. Raso de la Estrella remains as a space for nighttime DJ sessions, with more capacity and greater security.
The City Council has thanked Patrimonio Nacional for their collaboration in authorising the use of Plaza de San Antonio, an iconic venue that is once again part of the musical offering. The complete programme for the festival will be announced in the coming days.
