The Medieval Market in Mataelpino has its dates: it will take place from September 18 to 20, 2026 in the Plaza de España of the town, which is part of the municipality of El Boalo. The organization is managed by the Xalamut Company, which will provide the period atmosphere throughout the weekend. Access is free for all audiences.
The inauguration will be on Friday the 18th at 18:00, hosted by Xalamut. At 20:00, there will be a musical and entertainment performance, and at 21:30, the first grand night fire show with live music. The market will close at 22:30, depending on attendance.
On Saturday the 19th, the day will start at 11:00 with the market opening. Between 11:30 and 13:00, a healing potions workshop will be held, and at 12:30, there will be a musical performance by Xalamut. At 14:00, a new entertainment performance is scheduled, and at 14:30, the market will close for lunch. Activities will resume at 17:30, with a musical performance at 18:00, a craft workshop for leather bracelets between 19:00 and 20:30, another entertainment performance at 20:00, and the grand fire show at 21:30. The market will close at 22:30, also depending on attendance.
On Sunday the 20th, the market will open at 11:00. From 11:30 to 13:00, a wicker weaving workshop will be held, and at 12:30, there will be a musical performance. The last musical performance by Xalamut will be at 14:00, and the official closing is set for 15:00.
