The municipal company Rivamadrid celebrates its open day on Saturday, September 19, from 11:00 to 17:00, at Mariano Fortuny street, 2. The event includes activities for families, environmental workshops, and the traditional popular paella.
The municipal service company Rivamadrid is holding a new open day on Saturday, September 19 at its facilities located at Mariano Fortuny street, 2, in Rivas-Vaciamadrid. The hours will be from 11:00 to 17:00 and entry is free.
Attendees will be able to climb aboard garbage trucks and other municipal vehicles that serve the city. The day will feature a performance by the percussion group Toom Pak, which uses recycling elements to create sounds, as well as workshops, environmental games, and storytelling.
There will also be a market by Aspadir and another for community reuse with a back-to-school theme, a small circuit from BicinRivas, informational stands, and the traditional popular paella.
This event coincides with the 25th anniversary of the public company, which began its activities in 2021. The organization hopes to replicate the attendance of previous editions, where thousands of residents come to learn about Rivamadrid's facilities.
