The City Council of San Fernando de Henares has opened the application period for school supplies aid for the 2026/2027 academic year. Families can receive up to 300 euros per household.
The City Council of San Fernando de Henares, through the Department of Education, has launched the seventh edition of the Municipal Aid Plan for Families for the Acquisition of School Supplies. The application period will be open from 17 to 30 September 2026, both inclusive.
The aid consists of 100 euros for each student enrolled in the stages and cycles covered, with a maximum of 300 euros per family. If the documented expenses are lower, the aid will not exceed the total amount of the submitted invoices.
Families registered in the municipality for at least two years, with a per capita income below €12,240 (data from 2024) and with children born after 31 December 2005 can apply. The minors must be enrolled in publicly funded centres in the second cycle of Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, Special Education, Compulsory Secondary Education, Vocational Training, Baccalaureate or University Degree studies during the 2026/2027 academic year.
Eligible purchases include consumable and non-consumable school supplies (notebooks, backpacks, calculators, pencil cases), IT equipment such as tablets or computers, school cooperative expenses, and musical instruments such as flutes or xylophones. Excluded are textbooks, clothing, sports equipment, and complementary activities. Invoices must be in the name of the applicant and expenses must have been incurred between 21 June and 30 September 2026.
To process the application, it is essential to submit the application annex along with the original invoices and the other supporting documentation outlined in the call for applications. The City Council recommends attaching all documentation in a single PDF file. Applications that exceed the income threshold or do not meet the requirements will be excluded.
