The San Fernando de Henares City Council now has an appointment system in place for five procedures. Until October 1, it will coexist with walk-in services, after which no service will be provided without an appointment.

The San Fernando de Henares City Council has activated the appointment service for dealings with the local administration. The system is already operational and will coexist with the traditional method, which does not require an appointment, until October 1. From that date, no service will be provided without a prior appointment.

The procedures that require an appointment are Statistics and Registration, Tax Management, ORVE or Single Window, Scholarship Registration (school materials), and General Registration.

The Councillor for Modernisation, Leticia Martín, explained the aim of the change:

We are taking a step towards a more agile, efficient, and modern administration with the implementation of this tool that will allow us to optimise waiting times and, above all, improve management and service to residents, making their relationship with the institution easier and more comfortable.

To request an appointment, one must access the municipal website, indicate the procedure, select a date and time, and fill in the required fields. Upon completion, the system displays a code that the user must note down and enter at the kiosk on the ground floor of the City Hall, selecting the option “I Have an Appointment”.

People over 65 years old and vulnerable groups without access to the internet or new technologies will be attended to without a prior appointment, provided it is for their own dealings and not for third parties.

The City Council reminds that Electronic Administration is still available for registering procedures and checking their status online. It requires a ID or electronic certificate, mobile cl@ve, or cl@ve PIN. After signing, a registration number is obtained, which is sent by mail and can be checked in the Citizen Folder.
