The Town Hall of San Lorenzo de El Escorial has completed the renovation of urban furniture in the Historical Complex with 125 bins, 40 selective bins, 22 benches, 18 planters, and 47 bollards. The project is funded by NextGenerationEU with €151,088.30.
The Town Hall of San Lorenzo de El Escorial has finished the renovation of urban furniture in the Historical Complex. The work involved the installation of 125 circular bins, 40 selective bins, 22 benches, 18 planters, and 47 bollards in streets, parks, and public spaces in the centre.
The areas where work has been carried out include Floridablanca Street, Mariano Benavente Street, Juan de Toledo Street, Rey Street, the stairs of Calvario Street, and the parks of Juan de Herrera and Terreros, as well as several bus stops and other points in the Historical Complex.
The workers dismantled the previous elements, removed them, and managed their disposal, prepared the locations, and installed, levelled, and anchored the new furniture to ensure its stability and safety.
The planters that could be reused were transferred to the Municipal Clean Point for use in gardening and the conditioning of green areas. Non-reusable items were handed over to an authorised manager for treatment and recovery.
The project is funded by NextGenerationEU for a total of €151,088.30.
