The Seniors Department of Sevilla la Nueva has presented a programme of activities for the last quarter of the year, aimed at residents over 60 years old. It includes excursions, workshops and cultural proposals starting in September and running until the end of the year.
The Seniors Department of the City Council of Sevilla la Nueva has unveiled its programme of activities for the last quarter of the year, aimed at residents over 60 in the municipality. The proposal was announced on September 8 during the traditional Seniors Lunch held on the occasion of the 2026 Patron Saint Festivities.
The programme includes sports activities, excursions, cultural proposals, workshops and meetings that began in September and will extend until the end of the year. The planned cultural and leisure outings include a guided excursion to Arévalo, a theatrical visit to the Monastery of Pelayos, and an outing to enjoy the musical The Fox. A different proposal has also been scheduled, The Castafiore, an opera dinner.
The programme is complemented by workshops and training activities organised in collaboration with the Civil Guard, Red Cross, and La Caixa Foundation. The department hopes that these proposals will be well received this season.
With this new programme, the City Council of Sevilla la Nueva continues to bet on providing its seniors with spaces for meeting, learning, leisure and participation, promoting activities that contribute to maintaining an active and healthy life," officials from the council state.
